Pierre DeRoche, the famous family-owned independent Haute Horlogerie brand, introduces the gorgeous Grandcliff Pure Nacre model endowed with a beautiful blue-toned mother of pearl dial.
Two new additions to the Pierre DeRoche GrandCliff collection feature a large date and a power reserve indicator. These simple yet practical complications are emblematic for the GrandCliff range which encompasses complex and varied creations for both ladies and gentlemen. As announced by the brand, the Pure Nacre models are envisioned as an anthem to pure, uncluttered lines. These classically elegant timepieces are aimed at ladies, and they epitomize a vison of high-end watchmaking pared down to simple essentials.
The mechanical, Swiss-made automatic movement powers only complications that are useful in daily life – the understated date and power reserve indicator. The mechanism, which is built on 21 jewels, also enlivens the functions for hours, minutes, and seconds, while offering no less than 42 hours of power reserve.
The Pure Nacre duo is made of stainless steel, and each of these watches measures 40 mm in diameter. The highly legible functions are arranged across the blue-tinted natural mother-of-pearl dial, and embraced by a polished or diamond-set bezel. In addition to the arced power reserve indicator at 7 o’clock, and a date window at 3 o’clock, the dial also reveals 4 polished roman numerls.
In its more luxurious version, the slender case is set with 60 diamonds (approximately weighing 0.91 carats). The watch is mounted on a blue or white alligator strap with blue stitching. Reference numbers are GRC1øøø9ACI1-øø7CRO, for the diamond-set version, and GRC1øøø9ACIø-øø7CRO for the standard option. The diamond-set version retails at 12.968 €, while the pure variant costs 12.968 €.
