At the upcoming Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, which is scheduled for January 2012, Ralph Lauren will present two new watches of the Slim Classique Collection, inspired by the elegance of the 1920’s.
Each of the pieces is very thin, graced with sophisticated guilloché engraving and set with sparkling white diamonds. This is basically the same model, Ralph Lauren 867, only the total number of gem stones per each watch varies. RLR0132703 is a model with a single row of diamonds, graced with 96 dazzling stones. RLR0132702 features two rows of diamonds, and a total of 201 stones.
Both watches are presented in elegantly polished 18-carat white gold case sized 27.50 x 27.50 mm. This extra-thin model has only 5.75 mm in thickness and utilizes RL430 Caliber, made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren. The movement is built on 131 components, it beats at 21.600 vibrations per hour and provides about 40 hours of power reserve.

Reflecting the vintage style of the 1920’s, both watches have a traditional silver opaline dials with bold black Roman and Arabic numerals and classic Breguet-style black oxidized hands. Black alligator bracelet with polished white gold pin buckle completes the elegant creation.
At this moment, the suggested retail price for the model with one row of diamonds is $18,300, and the 867 watch with two rows of diamonds should retail somewhere around $18,800.
