Although I have been writing about this event in many of my recent articles, the official press release from SIHH has just arrived, highlighting some of the most interesting fact about the upcoming landmark event for the Fine Watch sector.
Next year, Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie takes place from January 16th to 20th, 2012, which is its 22nd year. SIHH is an exclusive and invitation-only event that gathers about 12,000 retailers, journalists and brand representatives from all over the world. A total of nineteen watch brands will present their latest timepieces and innovative concepts on 30,000 square meters at Palexpo, Geneva.

In a traditional manner, SIHH 2012 will also host a special exhibition. Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Genève will loan exclusive pieces from its collections of horology and enamel to be presented to the public. The exhibition entitled "Watchmaking in Geneva. The Magic of Craftsmanship, Treasures of Gold and Enamel" will focus on works from the Renaissance to the early 20th century.
