Spectacular watches highlight Antiquorum's december sale

Antiquorum Auctioneers is preparing for its largest annual US auction that will be held on December 10th and 11th at its offices on Madison Avenue in New York City. Over 500 lots will be offered in the sale of Important Collectors' Wristwatches, Pocket Watches & Clocks with a significant number to be sold at no reserve. Worldwide previews will be held in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Los Angeles and New York.

Patek Philippe Ref. 5020 (Estimate: $ 140,000 - $ 180,000.)

The connoisseur horologist will be excited to note that the first Patek Philippe Ref. 5020 ever produced, No. 3045000, will be offered in the December auction. The so-called "TV Watch", produced in 1994, is an extremely fine and very rare, tonneau-shaped, astronomic, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, 24-hour indication, perpetual calendar and moon phases.

Patek Philippe Ref. 5016 (Estimate: $ 550,000 - $ 650,000.)

Another extraordinary timepiece and highlight of the sale is the Patek Philippe Ref. 5016. Produced in 1993, this timepiece is an extremely fine, rare and important, astronomic, minute-repeating, platinum wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon regulator, retrograde perpetual calendar and moon phases.

Patek Philippe Ref. 5013 (Estimate: $ 400,000 - $ 500,000.)

Also for the Patek Philippe collector there is a Ref. 5013. Production of this reference started in 1992. It is an extremely fine, rare and important, tonneau-shaped, minute-repeating, astronomic, self-winding, platinum wristwatch with retrograde perpetual calendar, moon phases and leap year indication.

Franck Muller Caliber 97 (Estimate: $ 300,000 - $ 350,000)

Franck Muller collectors will eagerly be vying for the Caliber 97 "Grande et Petite Sonnerie, Minute-Repeater - Perpetual Calendar. Produced in 1997, this extraordinary timepiece is a unique, fine and rare, astronomic, grande et petite sonnerie minute-repeating, platinum and diamond set wristwatch with perpetual calendar, equation of time, moon phases and 24 hour display.
