Limited Edition: A wearable and lasting tribute to the fast world of motorsports

If you’re looking for a refined but affordable Swiss-made watch, then you should definitely consider Tissot models. Tissot is a Swiss manufacturer since 1853. After more than 115 years of tradition, the company is today a member of the Swatch Group and it offers a versatile range of high-quality timepieces at an attractive price. Unlike many other Swiss luxury brands, Tissot is committed to making the excellence more accessible.

Their newest watch is this beautiful limited edition model dubbed Tissot PRC 200 Danica Patrick. Danica Patrick is an American auto racing driver, a famous competitor in the IndyCar Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series. She is the source of inspiration for this high-performance chronograph, and that is visible in every single detail.

The complete series is issued in 4,999 pieces and designed to pay a tribute to the world of motorsports. As of 2011, Danica drives the #7 GoDaddy.com Honda/Dallara for Andretti Autosport. The dial and counters of a watch, therefore, bear fine markings, reminiscent of racing car dashboard design. Her lucky number seven is the most prominent detail on the dial. It stands boldly against the mother-of-pearl surface, and daringly captures an eye with its orange hue. Owing to the refined Swiss Made quartz movement, the watch also offers a date window at 4 o’clock.

The watch comes in a stainless steel case with screw-down crown and case back, bearing a special engraving. In a spirit of true sports watches, this one is water resistant to 200 meters. Mounted on a white leather strap with orange stitching and fastened to the wrist with butterfly clasp. This one retails for about $750.
