The Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève is a contest for high-end watch manufacturers, which takes place each year at the Geneva Watch Festival. This year, the Watchmaking Grand Prix takes place on Saturday 19th November 2011 at the Geneva Grand Théâtre.
The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) is open for all brands and the brands are free to choose the category in which they register each watch. However, only those watches that meet the “conditions of participation” are eligible to take part in the competition. There are seven categories: Ladies’ Watch, Men’s Watch, Design Watch, Jewellery & Artistic Crafts Watch, Complicated Watch, Sports Watch, “Petite Aiguille”. The special jury will award prizes in each category, but the special prize will be awarded based on public votes. You can also take a part in the voting on the internet via the www.gphg.org website or its partner sites.
Vote for your favorite watch via the World Tempus website and you will have the chance to win a Maxime Manufacture Automatic watch, in steel, for man, by Frédérique Constant.
