Hublot has, once again, joined forces with Depeche Mode – this time to launch a new fundraising project for charity: water.
A couple of days ago, in Paris, Martin Gore of Depeche Mode visited the Hublot boutique at place Vendôme to launch a new initiative, which is a part of the Depeche Mode worldwide 2013 – 2014 Delta Machine Tour. On this occasion, the renowned Swiss watchmaker Hublot and the representative of the famous English electronic music band, have announced that they will be offering a number of Depeche Mode inspired watches to support charity: water it its efforts to supply clean, safe water to the inhabitants of developing countries worldwide.

As a part of the initiative, Hublot and Depeche Mode unveiled 10 exceptional unique box sets with signed guitar and a special Hublot watch. The exceptional unique watch features a red chrono central hand, and each of the pieces in this limited series is engraved with one of the 10 cities that mean a lot to Depeche Mode: Paris, New York, Basildon, Los Angeles, Milan, Warsaw, Moscow, Zurich, Berlin and Hamburg.

In addition, Hublot is launching the Depeche Mode Limited Edition 2014 Watch, which is available in just 250 pieces crafted from stainless steel and decorated with 6 titanium screws. The watch is a classic 44mm Big Bang model with the same "Clous Pyramide" decoration that was also used for the last-year’s Depeche Mode watch. This time, the watch is fitted with an open worked case-back with the "Depeche Mode" and "charity: water" symbols in transfer. The watch is powered by the Aerobang mechanical self-winding chronograph movement HUB4214, which has a date module and runs on about 42 hours of power reserve. Hublot Depeche Mode Limited Edition 2014 Watch is mounted on a thermo-molded gray calfskin strap with Clous de Paris pattern, stitched onto black rubber.

Lastly, there is an ultimately rare Hublot Depeche Mode Tourbillon which is a unique piece to be auctioned on 6 March 2014, in Moscow, at a private dinner ahead of the concert on the 7th. The watch is described as a skeleton grand complication in a black titanium tonneau case with a nailed strap. This is also the first strap of its kind made by Hublot.

Martin Gore from Depeche Mode, stated: "I have been supporting and campaigning for charity: water for some time now. So I am particularly pleased that as a band and with the support of our loyal friend Hublot, we can extend our action for the organization, and contribute to making a real difference in countries struggling to survive for lack of access to drinking water."

Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, added: "This unique collaboration is part of our ongoing special relationship with Depeche Mode. We first met in 2010 and hit it off straight away. If our friendship can make a difference, then we must not hesitate since connection is all about sharing. If you don't share, you miss out. Hublot is in a fortunate position, and has a duty to share some of its success with those who need it."
