Hublot presents the Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade, the latest timepiece that honors the famous Brand Ambassador.
Following the successful launch of the King Power D-Wade watch, from 2011, the famous Swiss brand now presents its Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade wristwatch, which is Wade’s second edition with Hublot. While the first watch was much sportier, in terms of aesthetics, the new Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade shows elegant and sophisticated character. The watch is made from polished black ceramic, while Dwyane’s emblematic red and regal gold colors echo throughout the design. The dial is embellished with Dwyane Wade’s insignia, which is embedded into the sub-counter at 3 o’clock. Dwyane Wade’s signature appears at 6 o’clock position.
Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade measures 44mm in diameter and it features a polished black ceramic bezel with six H-shaped 18-karat King Gold screws. The appliques and hands are polished and gold plated, all except a dark red Chrono hand, which stands out prominently against the golden-black backdrop.
Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade watch is powered by the in-house HUB1155 automatic mechanical skeletonized chronograph movement, which beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. In addition to hours, minutes, and chronograph function, the movement keeps track of dates, and displays this information via a discrete rectangular window at 6 o’clock. The movement is built on 207 components and 60 jewels, and it provides around 42 hours of power reserve. Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade is water resistant to 50 meters and it is paired with a black rubber and alligator strap with red stitching and black PVD steel deployant buckle.
Hublot Classic Fusion Dwyane Wade, reference number 525.CS.0138.LR.DWD14, is available in a limited series of 250 individually numbered pieces. The watch is delivered in a special red and black watch box that resembles a luggage trunk. According to Hublot, this is the type of traveling accessory Dwyane would take on the road. The box can securely fit up to four watches.
