Hublot is launching its second Mykonos Limited Edition this year, which now comprises of two Classic Fusion models - Hublot Mykonos 2013 Classic Fusion Chronograph .
The very first Mykonos special edition was launched last year, with Hublot Mykonos Classic Fusion Chronograph, which was designed in collaboration with Hublot's Greek partner Flamme Hellas and Gofas in Mykonos. Building upon the success of the premiere edition, Hublot is now presenting two new models, designed for summer of 2013. One of them is crafted from King Gold, while the other one blends titanium and gold in a gorgeous dual-tone creation.
Same as last year, the new Mykonos Classic Fusion Chronograph honors the beautiful Greek island of Mykonoss, the Cyclades Archipelago, the summer by the sea... It keeps with the theme of blue and white, evoking the colors of the sky and the sea. The new chronograph models are nested in 45 mm case-diameter and equipped with distinctive blue dials. The watches are decorated with a discreet figure of a windmill, on the counter at 3 o'clock, which is a worldwide symbol of Mykonos.
Hublot Mykonos 2013 Classic Fusion Chronograph is powered by an automatic chronograph movement HUB 1143, which is built on 280 components, 59 jewels, and provides about 42 hours of power reserve. The watches are water resistant to 50 meters and mounted on a tone on tone strap made from blue alligator leather sewn onto black rubber.
Hublot Mykonos 2013 Classic Fusion Chronograph in King Gold is available in only 10 exemplars, and it comes with a reference number 521.OX.5180.GR.MYO13. Its dual-tone counterpart, crafted from titanium and 18-carat gold, is issued in a limited edition of 25 numbered pieces.
