The famous American singer, Axl Rose, the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses and also the current lead singer of AC/DC, has recently been spotted wearing the HYT Skull Axl Rose watch that he personally designed.

HYT, a relatively young Swiss independent luxury watch brand, has partnered with Axl Rose for a very special black-and-blue Skull timepiece. The watch was officially unveiled a couple of days ago, during the second annual Dubai Watch Week. The 25-piece limited edition timepiece designed by Rose is called Skull Axl Rose, and it takes its design cues from the basic HYT Skull watch. Axl, who's seen regularly sporting the Skull in Maori version, has now created a watch tailored to his own standards. The Skull Axl Rose embodies his innovative, rock ’n’ roll spirit.
The 51 mm black DLC-coated titanium case with a micro-blasted finish features a skull made from Damascus steel with blue PVD treatment. The same color highlights the indexes applied around the skull, while two side plates, appearing at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position, reveal the Clous de Paris pattern and blue PVD-finishing. The back of the case is fitted with a see-through metallized sapphire crystal graced with the recognizable Guns N’ Roses logo and Rose’s signature.
As always, HYT uses colored liquid to show the approximate time. There are no watch hands. Instead, the black-colored fluid that runs around the skull’s outline marks out the hours, while the left eye socket, which gradually darkens, is a continuously running seconds indicator. The minutes can only be approximated based on the fluid running through the tube.

The exclusive new HYT Skull Axl Rose is powered by the mechanical manually-wound HYT calibre which provides black retrograde fluidic hours and seconds. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and provides 65 hours of power reserve. The power reserve indicator is placed in the right eye socket, which gradually darkens as the amount of remaining stored energy depletes.

The Skull Axl Rose, reference number 151-DL-47-NF-BV, will be available from December 2016 in an extremely limited edition of just 25 pieces. The watch is mounted on a black leather strap with adjustable cuff, blue topstitching, and black DLC ardillon buckle. It retails at $100.000 UDS.
