La D de Dior was born in 2003, inspired by the '70s and a story of a woman who decides to wear a man's watch so that she is always thinking of him…
The amazing sophisticated collection is now enriched with two new watches, each in a 25mm wide steel case but very different personalities. Each timepiece is decorated with a diamond lined bezel which really catches the attention, but the complete appearance of the watch still depends on its classical shape, and precious materials. These models are happy medium between the 19 mm mini and 38 mm maxi models, created by Victoire de Castellane.
On the other hand, the watches radiate with a cheerful style, precious stones, noble and
eternal metals and lacquered finish, marked by the poetic signature of Dior fine jewellery.
One of the models is available with a graceful stainless steel case. It sports a bezel, laced with dazzling diamonds. The exquisite winding crown, revealed at 3 o’clock, is also sprinkled with diamonds. The model is built be water-resistant up to 30 meters. This timepiece is completed with black leather strap, possibly patent leather, and a simple dial with needle hands, diamond hour markers, and a black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial.
The other model, also crafted in stainless steel, catches the gaze with a bezel and a crown graced with high quality diamonds. The watch features a distinctive mosaic pattern. The timepiece shows off a steel dial completed with four diamond-studded indexes, exposed at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock position. This interpretation is highlighted by the sparkle of 67 diamonds with a total weight equal to 0,55 carats. Centralized hands, are also crafted from stainless steel. The watch utilizes ETA quartz movement, and it is water resistant up to 30 meters.

The game of light comes to life with each movement of the wrist, recalling the silhouette of the Bar suit, one of the most emblematic pieces of Dior. Monsieur Dior always dreamt of being an architect, and he adds: “As a Couturier, I have to respect the principles of architecture.” Dior VIII is also a nod at the lucky number of Dior’s superstitious founder. The house was established on 8...
