Manchester United and TAG Heuer have recently introduced two prestigious new models dedicated to their newborn partnership. In addition to Formula 1 Chronograph Manchester United Special Edition, the famous Swiss watchmaker, which also happens to be Manchester United’s official timekeeper, has unveiled the prestigious Heuer-01 steel and ceramic Manufacture Chronograph. Same as its Formula 1-inspired counterpart, the Heuer-01 Manufacture Chronograph sports the football club’s colors, and its recognizable Red Devil insignia.
The prestigious Carrera Heuer-01 Manufacture Chronograph is now offered in a special black and red color scheme, evocative of the club’s colors. This oversized sporty chronograph, measuring 45mm in diameter, features a black skeleton dial and a sapphire case-back, providing an exceptional view of the highly sophisticated Heuer-01 Manufacture Chronograph. The club’s Red Devil logo appears on a lacquered opaline black plate, inside of a small second counter at 9 o’clock position. The chronograph minute counter with black gold applique ring is located at 12 o’clock, while the hour counter appears at the 6 o’clock position.
The red of Manchester United appears on the TAG Heuer shield at 12 o’clock on the bezel, the hour, minute and chronograph central second hands, and the red alligator leather strap. The all-black case is made from PVC-coated stainless steel, and paired with a black ceramic bezel with an engraved tachymeter scale. The sapphire case-back reveals the Manchester United red devil decal logo, a perfect tribute to the winning Premier League club.
TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-01 Calibre Manufacture Chronograph Manchester United Special Edition is available with a red strap with black top-stitching or black strap with red top-stitching. Water resistant to 100 meters. The Carrera Heuer-01 Manchester United Special Edition is limited to 1000 pieces, and priced at 5900 CHF.
