The house of Vacheron Constantin presents a brand new collection that comprises timeless feminine timepieces of intriguing design, dressed in diamonds. The range beautifully exemplifies the expertise of master watchmakers and jewelers of the Maison, who have joined their forces to create these extraordinary 18-carat white gold timepieces, set with diamonds.
The new jewelry collection, the Heures Créatives, revisits three illustrative artistic periods: Art Nouveau, Art Deco and the 1970s. The collection, comprising Heure Romantique, Heure Discrète and Heure Audacieuse timepieces, represents a trilogy dedicated to three women with very different appearances, yet all drawn to the same vision of elegance. The designs are enlivened by the same mechanical hand-wound movement, Calibre 1055, which beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and promises around 40 hours of power reserve. The movement is built from 115 individual components and 21 jewels, which operate in synergy to show the passage of time in hours and minutes. The collection is available only in Vacheron Constantin Boutiques.
Vacheron Constantin Heures Créatives Heure Romantique is inspired by Art Noveau movement and its distinctive aesthetic codes that propagate a return to Nature, with undulating shapes, organic swirls and effusive arabesques. The Heure Romantique model, adorned with 104 round-cut diamonds (approximately 2.5 cts), is inspired by the voluptuous romanticism of this era. Its slightly curved case embraces a mother-of-pearl dial, evoking a model of the Belle Epoque, dating from 1916. This piece is worn on a black satin strap, secured by a white gold gem set folding clasp. There is also a second version that is fully paved with round-cut diamonds on the dial, case and bracelet. The bracelet only features 30 crescent moon-shaped links set with 264 precious stones (of about 6.3 carats), while the watch itself, together with a bracelet, and boasts 621 diamonds totaling approximately 9.7 carats.

Vacheron Constantin Heures Créatives Heure Discrète is inspired by Art Deco. The watch's design relies on geometric symmetry and clean lines, and it is dressed in 286 sparkling diamonds. The design of the watch is inspired by the fan, which was one of the most coveted accessories during the Roaring Twenties. It was also when the Maison offered the motif in the form of a pendant, back in 1919. This year, with the Heure Discrète model, the brand also revives the tradition of secret watches, allowing the women to check the time discretely. The Heure Discrète watch is made of white gold, and fashioned like guipure lace. When pivoted, the watch reveals a small mother of pearl counter with delicately textured strips and two hands. The watch is worn on a black satin strap, and may be extended by three undulating white gold ribbons, set with nearly 11 carats of diamonds.

Vacheron Constantin Heures Créatives Heure Audacieuse is inspired by the freedom of the 1970's. This avant-garde model recalls the time of post-Woodstock Pop Art. This cuff watch divers the belt from its common use, and turns it into a precious wristwatch – a style expressed by Vacheron Constantin in 1970. The buckle, which serves as a case, now glows with the effect of snow-set round-cut diamonds, entirely covering the white gold surface. The winding crown is hidden under the black satin strap, matching the color of the satin-finish polished dial. The Heure Audacieuse model is also available in a precious version with 172 invisibly set baguette-cut diamonds totaling 11.30 carats.
