The TAG Heuer Calibre 17 is an automatic chronograph movement built for Mercedes Benz. This model is produced in a limited edition of only 3500 pieces. Black dial reveals a spiral effect, a hand-applied index and luminescent hands that provide perfect legibility in darkness. It is also equipped with a red chronograph hand at one end, a hand-applied date window at 6 o'clock and two hand-applied, polished rings around the counters. The dial is graced with “Mercedes-Benz” and “Calibre 17 automatic” inscriptions. The luminescent markers on hour and minute hands provide more accurate readability. Fine brushed steel case with polished edges has a fixed bezel coated with titanium carbide with tachymetre scale. The piece is protected with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment. The case features two polished and fluted crowns, engraved with ‘SLR’ at 3 o'clock and with a stamped TAG Heuer logo at 9 o'clock. On the case-back you will find ‘SLR’ and ‘Limited Edition XXXX/3500’ engraved. The watch is completed with 5-bar fine-brushed bracelet and a clasp inscribed with ‘SLR’ and with a secure folding buckle that prevents accidental opening while maintaining simplicity of use by pressing sideways on the push-buttons.
