The design of Zenith Christophe Colomb watch is inspired by the legendary marine chronometer instrument. The striking and unique design represents a glass globe that encloses a gyroscope-balanced regulator. As you can see on the pictures, the globe protrudes above both the top and the back of the case.
The watch is available in two variations: in pink gold and white gold. The piece utilizes manually wound Zenith Academy 8804 movement composed of 166 individual parts, 10 conical-geared wheels, and 6 ball bearings. The watch offers a power reserve indicator and autonomy of fairly good 50 hours. There is also small seconds sub-dial positioned at 9 o'clock.
This watch is issued in a limited edition of only 250 pieces, and priced at $209,000.
