BaselWorld 2011 is just around the corner, and it is a perfect time to preview a couple of very nice new models from Hublot.

For this occasion, Hublot will showcase three new models: the F1 King Power Tourbillon King Gold Ceramic, the Big Bang Black Caviar in ceramic, and a bit more conventional Classic Fusion Opaline Dial wristwatch.

The F1 King Power Tourbillon King Gold Ceramic

The F1 King Power Tourbillon King Gold Ceramic is produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces. Hublot, the official timekeeper of Formula 1, created this robust and durable racing watch in 48mm wide octagonal case. The watch utilizes the in-house tourbillon chronograph movement HUB7300, providing 5 days of power reserve. The partially openworked dial reveals the unique tourbillon cage and balance at 6 o’clock. The satin-finished "King Gold" black ceramic bezel resembles a brake disc with 6 black PVD H-shaped relief titanium screws. The black strap, stitched onto rubber, is made of Nomex, which is another flame resistant material often used for drivers’ suits and equipment.

The Big Bang Black Caviar

The all-new Big Bang Black Caviar is entirely made from ceramic. This material is very light, scratch-resistant, doesn’t irritate the skin, doesn’t change its properties over the time, and it doesn't get rusty! This model is inspired by the well-known One Million $ Black Caviar watch, although crafted from the less noble material. The black surface of the watch is cut, beveled and polished, providing a perfect contrast for silvered skeletonized hands. Very discrete date aperture at 3 o’clock is almost melted with the background. This watch utilizes in-house self-winding movement HUB1112, and provides 42 hours of power reserve. Completed with black lacquered alligator strap, it is water resistant to 100 meters.

The Classic Fusion Opaline Dial

The Classic Fusion Opaline Dial is very elegant and classy, characterized by refined moderate design and sleek sporty-chic lines. The watch will be available in two sizes and two materials: as 42 or 45 mm wide, crafted from either zirconium or 5N red gold. Two variations are equipped with two different movements: the HUB 1112 and HUB 1110 self-winding mechanical. Completed with black alligator leather strap, the Classic Fusion Opaline Dial is water resistant to 50 meters.
