Movado Bold Derek Jeter 3000th Hit Major League Watch

Derek Jeter, an American Major League Baseball player, who has played his entire career for the New York Yankees, is the official ambassador of Movado. A couple of days ago, on July 9, 2011, Jeter became the first Yankee player to hit 3,000 hits in his career. The new Movado piece honors this great milestone, which also puts the Jeter on the 28th place in baseball history. Moreover, Jeter becomes the second player, after Wade Boggs, to achieve the feat with a home run!

The new Movado piece is a limited edition watch, issued in only 300 copies. The watch will retail for $550 and Movado will be donating $100, from each piece sold, to Derek Jeter‘s Turn 2 Foundation. The foundation is established in 1996, to help children and teenagers avoid drug and alcohol addiction.
