Hublot Chukker Bang wristwatch

The new watch is inspired by the world of polo, and even developed together with Facundo Piers, who is one of the wold’s best polo players. Facundo Piers also happens to be one of the Hublot’s ambassadors, and currently ranked number 2. The name of the Chukker Bang refers to a period of play in a polo match. A watch is, therefore, boosted with a very special feature that reflects the length of one period of play – its 7 min 30 counter. The word “chukka” is actually derived from Hindi chakkar or from Sanskrit chakra "circle, wheel", and it typically lasts about 7 minutes.

The Hublot Chukker Bang is also equipped with a titanium grille, which is affixed to its bezel to protect the sapphire crystal. This is a first time ever that Hublot uses grille for their watches. A special variant of this piece comes with a diamond-set grille.

The watch is a chronograph animated by HUB1141 Polo Flyback automatic movement. Red chronograph hand completes one revolution in 30 seconds while the watch itself runs on 42 hours of power reserve. This is a large piece with 44 millimeters in diameter, made of titanium and offered in a limited and numbered edition of 500 pieces. The case-back is graced with special Chukker Bang engraving and number of the edition.
