TAG HeuerMonaco V4 Next Generation Titanium Ruthenium and Ceramic is a limited edition watch, issued in only 200 pieces. The case of a watch is slightly larger than the rest of the Monaco models, it boasts 41 millimeters in diameter, and has fine ceramic inserts. The opwneworked dial features white “V4” and “Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Titanium Ruthenium and Ceramic" inscriptions, titanium indexes and hands, and the small second hand at 4 o’clock.

It also reveals Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges, and uses it as a background for an astonishing avant-garde display of the movement. The watch is set to motion by automatic belt-driven transmission movement equipped with two pairs of barrels in series. The barrels are set in parallel and linked by belts. This is actually the first patented belt-driven transmission in a watch movement. The movement is directly visible from the sapphire crystal front and back, and looks simply amazing, industrial, and hi-tech with its black ruthenium coating. Escapement and belt-driven transmission are also visible from the front.
The watch is water resistant to 50 meters, and it comes mounted on a hand-sewn anthracite alligator strap with soft-touch effect. The strap is finished with a titanium folding buckle engraved with V4 and with safety push-buttons. Tag Heuer Monaco V4 Titanium Ruthenium and Ceramic comes under the reference number WAW2080.FC6288 and it will be available from October 2011. Retails for $72,775 (CHF 65,000)
