TAG Heuer Monaco McQueen Watches for 2011

This week, David from Calibre11.com, published an exclusive review of two new TAG Heuer Monaco- Steve McQueen watches, which are going to be released in a next couple of weeks. Unlike the previous Monaco watches, this pair is going to be exclusively available at TAG Heuer Boutiques.

Monaco Twenty Four McQueen

comes in a 40.5mm Monaco 24 case made of stainless steel. It boasts blue shock absorbers and traditional McQueen blue & white dial. The design evokes the racing suite worn by the famous actor in the epic movie Le Mans. The watch is mounted on a blue crocodile strap with white stitching, and it will retail at CHF 13,200.

Monaco Steve McQueen Calibre 11

is nested in the classic 39mm Monaco case. In the spirit of the vintage models, this piece boasts a crown on the left side of the dial. The face of a watch reveals angled indexes and circular luminescent markers. The vintage-style hands are painted in orange, to evoke the orange stripes of the Gulf Oil driver’s suite. Calibre 11 model will retail at CHF 7,700.
