Vacheron Constantin Kalla Haute Couture à Pampilles, recently unveiled by the brand, is adorned with approximately 28.70 carats of precious stones. This is a mystery watch, stemming from the 19th century tradition in which the actual timepiece was hidden under gold case, typically set with diamonds. The secret watch allowed the wearer to check time in a discreet manner, and served above all as an exquisite piece of jewelery or an ornamental bracelet.

The body of this stunning creation is woven by hand in 18-carat white gold and adorned with flame and princess cut diamonds. The flame-cut was first introduced by Vacheron Constantin, three years ago, and it beautifully reflects the light from its 77 facets. The bracelet is made of two diamond-set ribbons, one in geometrical Art Deco style, and the other one in fluid Art Noveau spirit. Skillfully hidden behind the dazzling shine of diamonds beats famous hand-wound Calibre 1005 with the crown on the back of the movement. The movement provides hours and minutes indications, and allows for approximately 35 hours of power reserve.
