The new watch is a tribute to pilot Zenith story, and it houses Zenith’s legendary pocketwatch Calibre 5011. The design of the new Zenith Pilot Montre d’Aeronef Type 20 Pilot’s Watch evokes the shape of aviation dashboard clocks. It is very large, and boasts amazing 57.5mm in diameter. The smooth black dial features big bold Arabic numerals, painted in white luminescent material, and bold oversized hands.

As already mentioned, the watch is manually-wound and it features Zenith’s pocket watch caliber 5011. The movement is COSC certified and it provides 48 hours of power reserve. Besides hours and minutes, the watch provides small seconds indication through a sub-counter positioned at 9 o’clock, and it informs the wearer about the remaining energy in the barrel, through a power reserve indicator, placed at 3 o’clock.
There are two basic variations of this watch, depending on the choice of a strap:
27.00.2722.723 - brown veal leather
27.95.0022.001 - titanium pin buckle
