Hublot “Cathedral” Minute Repeater is the world's first watch with a minute repeater featuring two “cathedral” type gongs, a tourbillon and column wheel chronograph. The bridges on this watch are made of carbon fiber, which has also been used for the case.
All three major Haute Horlogerie complications are visible from the dial: the minute repeater, a tourbillon and column wheel chronograph. The minute repeater is activated by a lever situated between 8 and 10 o'clock, marking the hours, quarter-hours and minutes.
The flying tourbillon, situated at 6 o’clock has a cage that rotates without a ball bearing, and a Swiss lever escapement. This is possible owing to the HUB 8100 manually wound movement that provides at least 5 days of power reserve. |
