Chopard, the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, presents a new watch dedicated to all gentlemen on the red carpet – the L.U.C XPS Azur. Inspired by the colors of the French Riviera, Côte d'Azur, the new L.U.C XPS features a beautiful blue hand-guilloche dial that evokes the shades of the Mediterranean sea.
The exclusive new L.U.C model, XPS Azur, is crafted from 18-karat ethical white gold and adorned by a unique blue dial. Simple and elegant, at the same time, the L.U.C XPS features a slim 40 mm-diameter case. The blue of its dial is framed by a sunburst rim featuring baguette-cut hour markers. Anchored at the center of the dial are two Dauphine-type hands that are set to motion by an in-house manufactured ultra-thin mechanical self-winding movement.
In addition to the central display of hours and minutes, the watch provides a small seconds display and a date function nestled together at 6 o’clock.
The L.U.C 96.01-L movement is equipped with a 22-karat micro-rotor and two barrels, ensuring about 65 hours of power reserve. The movement is COSC-certified, while the watch bears the Poinçon de Genève hallmark. Visible through the case-back are its bridges chamfered and adorned with Côtes de Genève, along with a chamfered and circular-grained mainplate.
Chopard L.U.C XPS Azur, reference 161946-1001, is issued in a 10-piece limited edition. The watch is presented on a hand-sewn matt black alligator leather strap with 18-karat white gold pin buckle. For more informaton please visit chopard.com.
