At this year’s BaselWorld exhibition, Hamilton will present its new Jazzmaster Face2Face.
The most recent creation from the Hamilton Watch Company is a watch with two different personalities: one utterly classic and one avant-garde. This description certainly doesn’t sound reasonable until you take a look at this unusual creation and its unique rotating dial. The Hamilton Jazzmaster Face2face actually features two separate dials of which one is a “boy racer” chronograph, and the other is an elegant and classic three-hander. Each of the contrasting watch faces incorporates its own movement, which is fully visible from the back. This way, each of two sides - inspired by the theme of duplicity - can show time in different time zones, or can keep track of time in the same way while accommodating to different outfits.
Hamilton Jazzmaster Face2Face chronograph is powered by ETA 2094 automatic movement, while the classical dial utilizes the ETA 2671 movement. The movements are nested in slightly elongated stainless steel rotating case with 53 x 44mm in diameter and they both feature skeletonized rotors with exclusive decoration. The chronograph dial is crafted from smoked crystal and highlighted by edgy blue details, while the classic three-hander features grey dial highlighted with applied silver-colored indexes.
Hamilton Jazzmaster Face2Face is water resistant to 50 meters and issued in a limited edition of 888 pieces. The watch is mounted on the black leather strap with blue, soft-touch lining and double stitching. Recommended retail price for this watch is 6200 USD, 4900 €, or 5900 CHF.
