Hubolt is launching the most complicated watch in the Senna collection, Hublot MP-06 Senna, designed to honor the late three-time Formula One world champion Ayrton Senna.
The new Hublot MP-06 Senna is the fourth piece in the Senna collection. Following on the success of the Big Bang Senna from 2007, the Big Bang Foudroyante Senna from 2009, and the King Power Ayrton Senna from 2010, the MP-06 Senna celebrates Senna’s 41 victories and 3 championship titles. The watch will be released in 41-piece limited editions and in distinctive models.
Hublot MP-06 Senna is produced in King Gold, titanium or black PVD Titanium. The watch comes in a sporty tonneau-shaped case with openworked sapphire dial that showcases the in-house hand-wound skeleton tourbillon movement. Titanium and All Black versions feature HUB9006.H1.1, while the King Gold version utilizes HUB9006.H1.8 movement. Both are built on 155 components and 19 jewels and they beat at 21,600 vibrations per hour. Thanks to this mechanical marvel, Hublot MP-06 Senna works on 120-hour power reserve.
Bruno Senna, a famous Brazilian and former Formula One racing driver and the nephew Ayrton Senna, had made the journey to Hublot’s manufactures to see the first MP-06 Senna models in production: “We are so proud of having Hublot as one of our long lasting partners and extremely honoured that they chose the SENNA collection to present their new special watch design and technology. Celebrating Ayrton’s victories and titles with such a beautiful and special collection is outstanding.”
