Montblanc has has just introduced two new models to its Bohème collection. The range, which debuted in 2014, now welcomes new timepieces dedicated to the contemporary Bohème lady.
The Montblanc Bohème collection is enriched with new timepieces featuring elegant cases with the slightly curved faceted horns, and floral Arabic numerals with distinctive sensuous curves. First of them, the Montblanc Bohème Moongarden, is announced as an exclusive timepiece inspired by the moon and its magical and practical influence on humans. As Montblanc reminds us, people have kept track of the movement of the moon to measure the passing time, while naming full moons with different names, to signify the evolution of their lives over the lunar year. These names have inspired the house of Montblanc to create a special complication that displays the name of each month's full moon, instead of the traditional name of the month.

The name indicator has been sophisticatedly integrated into the moon phase. The crescent shape window in the center of the moon phase, at 6 o'clock position, informs the wearer about the name of each full moon. The function can be adjusted using the individual corrector, with the name of the current moon placed at 12 o’clock in front the little golden moon, linking the name of the moon to the date. Just like on a regular calendar, when the date reaches 31, the name of the moon changes and enters its new phase. There are twelve different names, from Ice Moon to Oak Moon, each engraved in circular fashion on the back of the watch.

The case of the Moongarden measures 36mm in diameter, and it features an 18K red gold bezel set with 78 fine Wesselton diamonds. The floral Arabic numerals are set against a sophisticated silvery-white «guilloché» dial with 90 facets, together with 18-karat red gold-plated leaf-shaped hands. The case is equipped with an interchangeable leather strap mechanism, which allows the Bohème lady to create her personal look. She may choose anything from from a black alligator leather, to a refined two color calf leather strap. The autumnal hues of brown and khaki straps are a perfect match for the red gold version of the watch, while spring is symbolized through the steel case and leather wristband in grey and pastel blue. Summer is illustrated by the two-tone wristbands in yellow and blue, while winter colors are symbolized by nude and white tones. The Montblanc Bohème Date Automatic features, a shiny two-colour leather wristband in yellow and orange, or light and dark blue.

The watch is powered by the MB 29.17 mechanical movement with automatic winding system. The special moon phase complication is developed in-house. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and it promises to give you about 42 hours of power reserve. Montblanc Boheme Collection Moongarden is water resistant to 30 meters.
