Today officially released - RJ-Romain Jerome and HardNine Choppers collaboration! The unique purple/gold H9C-DNA, HardNine Chopper’s customized Harley, and a 9-piece limited edition RJ-Romain Jerome H9C-DNA Speed Metal.
RJ-Romain Jerome and X HardNine Choppers have officially unveiled the results of their exciting new artistic mission: the unique new H9C-DNA timepiece and HardNine Chopper’s latest customization: a WLC 1943 Harley Davidson 750cc that was originally owned by the Canadian Army. The customized Harley motorbike is sold only in pair with one-of-a-kind RJ-Romain Jerome timepiece. Another limited series of 9 timepieces, H9C-DNA Speed Metal, with a mirror polished H9C skull on the dial, is created for nine more watch connoisseurs who would like to get a taste of RJ-Romain Jerome’s a new collaboration with HardNine Choppers.

The first of the two RJ-Romain Jerome H9C-DNA timepieces, the unique, one-of-a-kind watch, is housed in a 44 mm black PVD-coated steel case with a see-through back cover. This is the one that goes in pair with the customized Harley Davidson, and its design reveals the Harley motorbike’s unique DNA, pregnant with biker symbolic - purple metal flake paintings, golden components, perforated leather and skulls. It features a red gold bezel and hour and minute hands made from the same material. The watch is fitted with a five-layer skeleton movement with angled bridges shaped like a V-Twin motor, and with the skeletonized skull made from purple metal applied on the dial. A H9C’s skull logo is cut-out on its forehead, allowing the wearer to admire the barrel from the dial-side. The balance wheel is visible in the lower portion of the dial, just below the gridded teeth of a skeleton face.

This rare RJ-Romain Jerome H9C-DNA timepiece goes in pair with the HardNine Chopper’s latest customization: a WLC 1943 Harley Davidson 750cc, which was completely redesigned by Danny Schneider. The process of customization - which involves hand-reshaping of the fenders, gas and oil tanks, the front fork, the exhaust pipe and the reconditioning of the original motor - took 6 long months to complete. The motorbike is painted in purple metal flake color and embellished with pinstripes on both sides of the gas tank, fenders and front fork. But that’s not all… a charming, witty touch of contemporary art is added to the steering column, which features South Park’s famous “Cartman” figurine, and which is used to manually change the bikes’ gears. Another interesting detail is the insignia of the hard rock band Slayer, cut-out on the grip of the right footstool, and the Lettering “L.A” and the number “9”, which are hand-painted on the exposed parts of the motor.

Surprisingly or not, the unique WLC 1943 Harley Davidson 750cc and its accompanying watch – the RJ-Romain Jerome H9C-DNA have already been sold for CHF 110,000. However, 9 limited edition RJ-Romain Jerome H9C-DNA Speed Metal watches are still on offer, each retailing at CHF 17,950, or EUR 17,500, or USD 21,950. Same as their one-of-a-kind inspiration, the H9C-DNA timepieces are powered by mechanical self-winding movement RJ004-M, and they run on 48 hours of power reserve. The 44mm cases are made of black PVD-coated steel and embellished with a skeletonized dial with skull applique in rhodiated aluminum. The RJ-Romain Jerome H9C-DNA timepieces are mounted on a perforated “guidoline” leather strap that has been tailor-made for this model.
