The nautical DNA of the legendary Swiss brand is encapsulated in the exclusive Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer, which has been specifically designed for this prestigious event. The annual calendar complication was introduced into the Marine Chronograph family in 2016, as a way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the marine collection. In its pursuit of simplicity, Ulysse Nardin accomplished to make a mechanical annual calendar system that relies on only 7 elements, while most of the mechanical annual calendars typically require up to 30 components. The new model thus became the epitome of innovation and practicality. Simple to use, beautiful to admire, this model requires a date adjustment only once a year.

This exquisite model is powered by the caliber UN-113, which incorporates the silicone escapement and balance-spring, entirely made in-house. The movement also enables the calendar date-setting both forwards and backwards. The self-winding mechanism is COSC-certified and it features a 60-hour power reserve.

The Marine Chronometer Annual Calendar Monaco is water resistant to 100 meters, and it features a large, 43 mm stainless steel case topped with a fluted bezel and a rubberized screw-down security crown. The case-back is equipped with a sapphire crystal that reveals the UN movement. The watch is mounted on a rubber strap with a folding clasp and titanium element.

Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer Annual Calendar Monaco, reference number 1133-210LE-3/40-MON, retails at 9’900 CHF. For more information, please visit UlysseNardin.com.
