Romain Jerome created a truly unique piece - a watch carved out of rock. The dial of a watch is made from stone on which the Principality of Monaco was built. The limestone rock was selected from the western cliff of the Rock of Monaco, in the Saint-Martin gardens. Now it is framed with matt black ceramic bezel and serves as a playground for immediately recognizable Romain Jerome details: central hours and minute hands, and small seconds in a separate “rocky” sub-dial positioned at 9 o’clock.

A mineral plate rotates on the surface of the dial and serves as a reminder of the earth’s crust and our difficulty to master its movement. Two red stripes symbolize the latitude and longitude coordinates of Monaco. Actually, the very place where the stone was taken from the Rock of Monaco.
The piece is delivered with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the origin of the materials.
