Bell & Ross Vintage PW1 and WW1

The newest release from imaginative watchmakers of the Bell&Ross manufacture pays homage to the history of military timepieces. Тhe brand just introduced the new pocket watch, PW1, along with its wristwatch reinterpretation – the Vintage WW1. The watches are directly inspired by the pieces worn and tested by French soldiers of the World War 1. The inspiration is visible even in the tiniest detail: the grooved crown, just like the one used by pilots while wearing gloves; the domed crystal and its vintage appeal; clean and simple lines of the dial… Each of the watches utilizes a high-quality Swiss movement and, unlike the original models, uses a sapphire crystal glass for protection, instead of the mineral glass.



The PW1 watch comes attached to a long chain, which “barelycorn” guilloche case-back and manual winding mechanical ETA 6497 movement. It boasts a galvanic sunburst dial, large Arabic numerals and luminescent hands. The watch offers hours, minutes and small seconds indication. It’s stainless steel case is 49 mm wide and water resistant to 30 meters.



The WW1 are mounted on black alligator leather straps and available in three variations: with power reserve indicator,(WW1 - 97), a large date version (WW1 - 96) and a version with large date and power reserve indicator (WW1 - 90). All of the watches are crafted in stainless steel and sculptured in 45mm-wide case. Their black galvanic sunburst dial reveals numerals, indexes and hands covered in luminescent coating. Water resistant to 50 meters.
