For BaselWorld 2018, the Italian watch brand Anonimo introduced a new, casually chic watch line named Epurato. As its name suggests, the Epurato watch is distinguished by its pure, clean lines, as opposed to the existing Militare and Nautilo collections, which are focued on dive and military-style watches. For the spring of 2018, Anonimo unveils two new Epurato Safari watches in a matte black case and an antelope bracelet.
The all-new and exotic Epurato Safari is crafted from stainless steel and covered with a black matte DLC treatment. The watch is available in two distinct variants – with either a black or light dial. The smaller, more classic cushion-shaped case measures 42mm in diameter featuring a sand colored antelope leather bracelet, evoking the warmth of a vast African desert.
The highly legible dial, in either a sand or black color, reveals Anonimo’s signature triangle 12/04/08, recalls the “A” of Anonimo; applied indexes, and a small date aperture at 6 o’clock position. Two oversized hands, for hours and minutes, are coated with Swiss Super-Luminova.
Anonimo Epurato Safari is powered by the Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement. A sapphire case-back provides a glimpse to its several decorations, and also protects it from the ingress of water to 50 meters of depth. The movement offers 38 hours of power reserve.
Anonimo Epurato Safari comes with a price tag of $2700 USD. Both versions are already available on anonimo.com.
