Earlier this year, at BaselWorld 2018, the Italian watchmaker Anonimo introduced the new Epurato range that pays homage to Florentine aesthetics. Embodying the aesthetic codes of Italian elegance, the new collection is a more contemporary take on Anonimo's signature watch design. It uses the chief identity elements of the brand, such as the cushion case and the dial displaying the signature triangle arrangement of elements, presenting them in a smaller, more refined form that is suitable for both genders.
The latest addition to the Epurato range is the Epurato Verde Natura, a design that combines stainless steel case with green dial that changes color depending on the light. The new matte dial makes it possible for the color to change from a fir tree green to slate gray depending on the reflections of the light. The dial is framed by a fluted bezel and marked with alternating indexes and numerals, recalling the characteristic triangle reading of the brand.
The watch is housed in an ergonomic case that measures 42mm in diameter, so it can suit both male and female wrists. The case houses the pearled Swiss-made automatic movement, Sellita SW 200-1, whose skeletonized weight and Côtes de Genève decoration can be admired through the sapphire case-back. The mechanism is sealed against the ingress of water to 50 meters of depth, and it comes with a promise of 38 hours of power reserve.
The Anonimo Epurato Verde Natura is mounted on a graduated green calf leather bracelet, hand made in Italy. Thanks to the new system that allows an interchangeability of the straps, the wearer can easily change the strap and reinvent his or her style.
