Chopard is getting ready to launch a gorgeous new wristwatch in the Imperiale Collection. This intriguing line of watches, distinguished by contemporary elegant models, was entirely redesigned in 2010, on its 20th birthday. The Imperiale collection now welcomes a sophisticated all-black chronograph endowed with diamonds. In the words of the brand, the watch is designed to complement the glamorous evening wear, but it is also suited a spin in an open-top sports car.
Chopard Imperiale Chrono All Black watch is carefully designed to offer a shimmering play of light effect and to honor the Imperiale collection, and all that it stands for. The surface of the dial, with its elegant and bold monochrome look, is touched with crisp signature details and lit by a row of striking white diamonds. There are Roman numerals and arabesque motifs of the dial, evoking the embellished cushions that monarchs used to adorn with their insignia. The shape of hands reflects the tapered daggers sovereigns used in combat. The crown is inspired by lotus flower and it is adorned with an onyx. The shape of lugs evokes the ancient columns and their harmonious proportions.
Chopard Imperiale Chrono All Black is crafted in stainless steel and coated in DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon). The watch measures 40mm in diameter and it utilizes a mechanical self-winding movement, which beats at 28,800 vph and provides about 42 hours of power reserve. Chopard Imperiale Chrono All Black is water resistant to 50 meters and it comes on a DLC coated steel bracelet. The watch is issued under the reference number 388549-3006.
