Longines has unveiled a collection of timepieces, the Conquest Classic Line, which honors the world of horse-racing.
Longines is a partner of the most prestigious flat races in the world, and this new collection will be showcased it the parade rings at Chantilly, Hong Kong, Royal Ascot or Dubai stadiums. The collection features four new models fitted with self-winding calibers and inspired by the vintage chronographs from the late 19th century, produced for habitual frequenters of race meetings and jockeys in New York.
The Conquest franchise was envisioned and patented back in 1954. Ever since then, many successful models of classical beauty have joined Longines universe. The new line, Conquest Classic, is the latest addition to the Conquest family, and it is dedicated to race-goers from all around the world. Longines Conquest Classic is available in three sizes. There are two ladies’ models with either 29,50mm or 40mm in diameter, and men’s model with 41mm in diameter.

Longines Conquest Classic 29,50mm is available in stainless steel, rose gold, or in dual-tone combination of these two materials. The watch is offered with a black or silvered dial, with applied Arabic numerals, and indicators for hours, minutes, seconds and date. The watches are powered by mechanical self-winding caliber L595.2 (ETA 2000/1), which beats at 28800 vibrations per hour and provides 40 hours of power reserve.

Longines Conquest Classic 40mm is fitted with a mother-of-pearl dial lit with 13 sparkling diamonds. These models are also available with diamond-set bezels, mounted on black alligator straps, or steel or steel and rose gold bracelets. This model is powered by Caliber L619.2 (ETA 2892/A2), beating at 28800 vibrations per hour, and it comes with 42-hour power reserve.

Longines Conquest Classic 41mm is a chronograph run by an L688 column-wheel movement, developed by ETA for Longines. These models are available in steel, rose gold, or dual-tone steel and gold combinations. The model is fitted with silver or black dial showing hours and minutes, small seconds, and a chronograph function (central sweep hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock). Longines Conquest Classic 41mm is mounted on either a black alligator strap or a steel or steel and rose gold bracelet.
