Last year, Louis Erard celebrated 80 years of rich history. For this special occasion, the brand has released a new line of watches named “Excellence.” The new range is a celebration of Louis Erard’s creativity and expertise, epitomizing brand’s values, quality and recognizable aesthetics.
The collection offers seven new models, of which five are designed for men and two for women. Each of the models in the Excellence collection is available in steel or rose gold. The collection offers models with a power-reserve display, a regulator watch, a simple power-reserve variations, a chronograph with moon phases and 24-hour indicator, and three-hand watches. All of the models are endowed with in-house mechanical movements of which two are manually-wound.
The movements are nested in 36 mm cases, for women, and 40 mm for men. Each of the watches comes with a neoclassical elegant white dial with Roman numerals and elegant hour-markers. It perfectly blends watchmaking traditions and modern aesthetic values.
LOUIS ERARD Excellence Moon Phase 24 Hour Chronograph
One of the watches of this collection is Louis Erard Excellence Moon Phase 24 Hour Chronograph, which is going to be presented at the upcoming Basel World. The model offered in versions for men and women. The men's watch runs on automatic ETA 7751movement, with 12-hour counter and moon phases at 6 o'clock, small seconds and 24-hour indicator at 9 o'clock, and date on the flange, indicated by a central hand. Lady's chronograph uses ETA 2094 automatic movement, and boasts a bezel set with 70 Top Wesselton F-G VS-SI diamonds (0.7 ct). The watch has a 12-hour counter, 30-minute counter and small seconds at 6, 3 and 9 o'clock, and a date window at 4 o'clock. Women's version is mounted on a white leather strap.
