Louis Erard celebrates the 80th anniversary of the original 1931 collection.
Since the beginning, this company was focused on production of exclusively mechanical watches. Their new line of timepieces, evocatively named “Excellence” represents the brand’s subtle revolution, crowned in a golden jubilee.
The supreme collection embraces seven different models, of which two are made exclusively for women. The models include different complications, including power-reserve indicator, regulator, chronograph with moon phases, 24-hour indicator, and three-hand watches. The newest piece in Excellence collection is the Louis Erard Excellence Moon Phase 24 hour.
The new model is animated by the mechanical self-winding, ETA 7751 movement and provides following functions: hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, moon phase, chronograph and 24-hour indicator. It comes with a white dial fitted with 30-minute chronograph, day and month counter at 12 o’clock, and 12-hour and moon-phase counter at 6 o’clock. The small seconds and 24-hour indicator are positioned at 9 o’clock. Date is indicated with central pointer and display around the inner bezel ring.
The watch measures 42 millimeter in diameter, and has a sapphire crystal on top of the dial. The case-back is generously decorated, and the cases are available in stainless steel or pink gold.
Mounted on black leather strap, these watches are water resistant to 50 meters.
