Officine Panerai, the official watch partner of Design Miami, introduces a special new watch, the limited edition Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT Automatc Acciaio (PAM986) available at the famous international design fair. The exclusive new timepiece features a lively blue dial and a substantial 44mm-wide stainless steel case. As its name implies, the model ensures 10 days of power reserve with a linear indicator, a GMT function with 24-hour indication, and AM/PM indicator.
The watch is powered by the in-house Caliber P.2003, which is an automatic movement beating at a frequency of 28,800 vph. Its functions include: hours, minutes, small seconds, date, GMT, 24-hour indicator, linear power reserve, seconds reset. The screw-down crown is secured by the bridge crown protector device, ensuring the water resistance of 300 meters.
The limited edition Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT Automatic Acciaio 44mm is available at Design Miami from December 5-9. This special model is produced in a limited run of 40 pieces, and it retails for $14,000 USD. After Design Miami (from today) the watch will remain exclusive to the United States. The watch is presented on a custom designed blue canvas strap, and delivered with additional blue rubber and blue alligator leather straps.
