Panerai Radiomir Black Seal Automatic 3 Days
The new watch from Officine Panerai is this automatic caliber piece dressed in a Radiomir case and endowed with 3-day power reserve. The watch is fully designed, assembled and tested in the Officine Panerai manufacture, and it utilizes the automatic winding manufacture movement caliber P.9000.
The newest Radiomir model arrives in a polished steel case with 45mm in diameter, fitted with brand’s proprietary sandwich-style dial. This means that the dial consists of a couple of layers, or discs, where the luminous material is applied onto a bottom layer, and dial (with cutouts for the numbers and indices) is positioned on top of the luminous layer. Panerai uses sandwich dials for some of their models to make the numbers, letters and numerals appear as three-dimensional forms, in low light conditions.
Thanks to the caliber P.9000, the watch shows small seconds at 9 o’clock and features a large date indication at 3 o’clock. The movement is composed of 195 individual parts, built on 28 jewels, and it beats at 28,800 vph. It is fully visible from the back of the case, where a sapphire crystal offers a view of the bidirectional oscillating weight.
The watch arrives on the market under the reference number PAM00388. It is mounted on black alligator strap with removable wire loop strap attachments, fixed to the case by small screws. This is Officine Panerai patent that ensures quick replacement of the strap.
