Baume and Mercier - Linea Collection

In 2011, Baume & Mercier offers contemporary reinterpretation of some of their most successful collections: Classima, Capeland and Linea. Their new design policy is signed as “seaside living” a way of life which perfectly corresponds to the genuine values of conviviality, sharing, and durability, which are promoted by the brand. Baume & Mercier's new motto is: “Life is about moments,” and that is perfectly illustrated in each of their new pieces. All of them are engraved with the Greek letter Phi, a symbol of balance and perfection.



Linea, the perfect harmony of style and femininity, was first launched in 1980’s.
The line is distinguished by soft lines, sensual curves and confident luxury as well as sublime details. In 2000, the brand introduced a concept of interchangeable bracelets and today goes one step further. The Linea is still made upon the same celebrated principles: a domed crystal, a rounded shape and fluid lines decorated by a continuous bevel on the case and the bracelet. New details on Linea include its elegant size, polished and satin finishes and redesigned bracelet. The new models are also water resistant to 50 meters.



The new models offer a wide range of options. The wearer can choose from 27 or 32 mm in case diameter, black, mother-of-pearl or silver-colored dial; plain or diamond-set bezel, and two types of movements: quartz with hours, minutes and seconds or quartz chronograph displaying minutes, seconds and tenths of seconds in three counters.

Interchangeability remains the signature of the collection, allowing the wearer to easily change the strap to suit her mood or the occasion. A wide diversity of choices is available, including stainless steel, satin, black calfskin, or elegant brown warp-around calfskin strap.



The emblematic Linea watches are 32 mm models with a mother-of-pearl dial paired with interchangeable bracelet in satin or black calfskin. The watches are available in two versions: mechanical self-winding with a sapphire crystal case back, or quartz chronograph with a bezel set with 42 diamonds and the bracelet attachment links set with 36 diamonds for a total of 1.4 carats.
