Carl F. Bucherer Alacria Swan

The newest creation from famous Swiss manufacture reflects the highest values of fine watchmaking and traditional jewelcrafting. The watch is a tribute to the Bucherer family and the city of Lucerne, where the brand was born in 1888. One of the landmarks of the city is a Lake Lucene on which many swans glide charmingly across the surface of the water. These mythical creatures, often regarded as symbols of our dreams, are inspiration for new Alacria Swan watch.

Carl F. Bucherer Alacria Swan is the masterpiece of the Alacria line. The watch is crafted in noble 18-carat white gold and adorned with 348 white diamonds on the case, 137 diamonds on the dial, one diamond on the crown and 844 diamonds on the bracelet. All diamonds are Top Wesselton quality and they are weighing 3.30 ct on the case, 1.20 ct. on the dial and 8.70 ct. on the bracelet. What is most amazing is that each of these gem-stones is set by hand, according to the traditional jewelcrafting standards.



Time telling is here just a secondary feature and that is why this watch indicates only hours and minutes. Its sword-shaped blued hands are animated by the simple but accurate quartz movement, nested inside of a 26.5 mm x 38 mm case. Carl F. Bucherer Alacria Swan is offered in a limited edition of 88 exemplars. It comes under the reference number 00.10702.02.90.27.
