The new piece is powered by Chopard’s in-house L.U.C Calibre 96.01-L, which allows for a date window at 3 o’clock. The previous version of L.U.C XPS watch was a simple watch mechanism, having only hours and minutes indication, as well as the subsidiary seconds dial.
The watch is crafted in pink gold and issued in a symbolic limited edition of only 125 pieces. As you can see on the photo above, the watch comes with a nice chocolate-brown sunburst dial graced with Poinçon de Genève insignia at 12 o’clock. The hour-markers and crisp sophisticated hands are colored in complementary shades of gold.

Elegantly sized, the watch boasts 39.50 millimeters in diameter and has a glareproofed sapphire crystal on both sides of the case. The inner movement, visible from the case-back, is built on 29 jewels and provides 65 hours of power reserve. Of course, the movement is stamped with Geneva Seal and adorned with Côtes de Genève engraving. Mounted on a hand-sewn matte brown alligator leather strap with 18-carat rose gold pin buckle. Water resistant to 30 meters.
