At the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, in January 2014, Cartier will present the latest versions of its iconic Tortue model.
Cartier Tortue watch, inspired by the shell of a tortoise, was for created back in 1912. This exceptional model of a unique design has immediately captured attention of watch connoisseurs and, even today, it remains one of the Cartier’s most sought-after creations. For 2014, Cartier creates its Tortue for ladies arrives in two sizes, both fitted with manufacture movements.
The new Tortue models are smaller and thinner, and the flat facets are now replacing the domed case of the original model. What remains the same are the generously sized dials and soft, feminine curves of its silhouette. The refined aesthetic codes of Swiss watchmaking are noticeable even from the first glance: an elegant guilloche dial, elongated Roman numerals, dotted rail-track, and blued, sword-shaped hands… For true admirers of fine watchmaking, a true jewel hides on the inside – a Manufacture mechanical movement with manual winding.

Cartier Tortue for SIHH 2014 is announced in small and medium sizes, crafted from white or pink gold, with or without diamonds. Tortue models for 2014 will be available on tone-on-tone metal bracelets or vibrantly colored leather straps.
More information about Cartier Tortue models for 2014 will be available in January 2014, after the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie. Just to remind you, the exhibition will take place from 20th to 24th January 2014, at GENEVA PALEXPO in Switzerland.
