Corum unveils the new collection of watches with a timeless, classic design – La Grande Vie. Corum, the brand that nurtures creativity and boldness as its guiding principles, is making a daring exception this time. The new collection is a daring exercise in unrestrained creativity, a range with an elegant, classic design that complements Corum’s most daring pieces.
The collection debuts with three distinct pieces joining Corum’s Heritage collection. All three of them are crafted from titanium and housed in 42mm cases equipped with a sapphire crystal case-backs, allowing the wearer to admire the Swiss-made automatic movement calibre SW300.
The dials, attracting the most attention, features a shimmering sunray finish in blue, green, or red. The slender, crisp, baton hour markers are prominently elongated to accentuate the sunray effect that gives the dial its radiant look. The dials are swept by tapered diamond-shape Dauphine hands, one of the most classical features of traditional fine watchmaking. The numeral at 12 o’clock is here replaced by an oversized Corum logo, a key pointing skywards as a symbol of mysteries waiting to be unlocked.
The automatic movement, beating at a frequency of 28800 vibrations per hour, provides functions for hours and minutes, as well as 42 hours of power reserve. The watches are water resistant to 50 meters of depth and paired with a calf leather imitation alligator straps in matching color.
