Here is one truly exclusive piece – the world’s only watch with interstellar diamonds.
It’s always great to see how famous watchmakers are pushing the boundaries of luxury and imagination, but when they dedicate their exclusive creations to ladies, it makes me even happier.
The new Stardance by Louis Moinet is a mechanical self-winding timepiece graced with unique interstellar diamonds, sourced from the Enstatite EH3 meteorite. The diamonds contained in this piece of rock are formed far beyond our solar system, and much before it was born. These nano-diamonds originate from the midst of interplanetary clouds that form during the explosion of a giant star. When a star explodes, the carbon surrounding it turns into nano-diamonds, which are actually a genuine stardust composed of tiny shimmering particles. Only a small number of meteorites have succeeded to capture it and the Enstatite EH3 is one of them.

Louis Moinet Stardance
The Stardance is entirely inspired by the starry sky, the wonder of the interstellar world and its mysterious sparkle. The dial of the watch illustrates the two faces of the universe: a day and night. The rare interstellar diamonds are finely cut and arranged on the dial to depict various phases of the moon. The running seconds display is shaped like a sun, to symbolize the bright side of the world. Its longest ray indicates the current second.
The case of the Stardance watch is crafted in grade 5 titanium and topped with a white ceramic bezel. There are 6 cabochon-cut sapphires on the bezel and a row of 54 VVS Top Wesselton diamonds. Everything is nested in a feminine body with only 35.60 mm in diameter. The dial is made of white mother-of-pearl and graced with Louis Moinet’s emblematic Côtes du Jura motif and dewdrop-shaped hands.
The watch utilizes self-winding mechanical movement, developed and assembled by Louis Moinet and Concepto. The movement is built from 49 individual components and provides 42 hours of power reserve. Along with hours and minutes, the movement animates the small seconds indication, positioned at 6 o’clock.
The watch comes under the reference number LM-32.20DSAP.80 limited to only 365 exemplars.
