The house of Maurice Lacroix introduces a brand new version of its most popular Aikon model. This time, the iconic Aikon has been redesigned, resized, and created with a female audience in mind. The watch that, as the brand promises, meets the needs of a modern woman, is sized at 35mm in diameter and offered in four different versions, each designed to reflect the personality of the owner.
The Aikon, first launched in 2016, is a popular men’s watch that now shares the same DNA with its more refined female sibling. Available in a choice of two white mother of pearl dials, blue Clous de Paris dial, and black mother-of-pearl variant, each is adorned with 8 square-set diamonds. The case and the bracelet are available in stainless steel, or a duo-tone combo of silver and gold. The watch is gracefully adorned with alternating polished and satin-finish surfaces, polished bezel claws and brushed bezel.
The reverse side of the watch reveals a see-through sapphire crystal that allows the wearer to admire the automatic movement ML115, which is a modified and decorated SW200 base caliber. The movement beats at 4Hz and has a power reserve of 38 hours. The decorations feature a Geneva Stripe pattern and perlage.
