OMEGA’s iconic Seamaster model arrives in a brand new version designed particularly for sport. This extremely lightweight, ergonomic watch is named the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Ultra Light. In order to avoid any mistakes in creating this ultimate sports timepiece, OMEGA has collaborated with one of its famous ambassadors, a golfer Rory Mcllroy.

Together with its fabric strap, the Ultra Light Seamaster weighs only 55g. In a first for OMEGA, the 41mm case, case-back, and crown, are all made from a special alloy named Gamma Titanium, which is harder and lighter than conventional titanium. The amount of the material for the dial has also been reduced, therefore reducing the overall weight of the watch. In addition, there is no date indicator, which means that the movement is much lighter, with its weight reduced to a minimum required for this handsome three-hander to work.
The streamlined design of the OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Ultra Light features a push-in telescopic crown that pops out on a single push and retreats with a second push. The system is extremely practical for sportsmen as it partially obscures the crown, making it stowed inside the case when not in use. The feature delivers added comfort during game-time.
The dial of the Ultra Light model is made from sandblasted grade 5 titanium and features a stripes motif in negative relief. The model is available in three different options – red, green, and blue - each with a differently colored aluminum seconds hand, Seamaster logo, quarter hour indexes, and strap stitching. The watch comes on a rubber strap, supplied with an additional fabric strap.
The Seamaster Ultra Light is powered by a brand new movement, the manually wound Caliber 8928 Titanium, which is made of ceramized titanium. The unique dark grey colored mechanism can be freely admired through the sapphire case-back. The co-axial movement holds the Master Chronometer certification, it is antimagnetic to 15,000 Gauss, and extremely lightweight. Thanks to its two clearly marked barrels, the watch provides 72 hours of power reserve, while the case design makes it water resistant to 150 meters.
