The house of OMEGA introduces a very special limited edition of its legendary Seamaster. This time, the famous Swiss watchmaker has decided to honor its homeland with the new Seamaster Exclusive Boutique Switzerland Limited Edition. This special timepiece belongs to OMEGA’s newly launched City Edition, distinguished by array of locations laser-engraved on the caseback’s grey inner ring.
The Seamaster Exclusive Boutique Switzerland Limited Edition celebrates the beautiful nature and famous architecture of Switzerland. A selection of iconic Siwss locations - including those such as Zurich’s Grossmünster, the Jet d’Eau of Geneva, the mountains of the Swiss Alps and even OMEGA’s own factory in Bienne – has been engraved on the case-back’s grey inner ring.
This unusually elegant model is crafted from stainless steel and paired with a smoky grey lacquered dome dial with a sophisticated gradient effect. The cool grey hue of the dial is offset by the warm glow of 18-karat Sedna gold on the hands, logo, and indexes. The sober, clean dial remains undisturbed by a presence of a discrete date window at 6 o’clock.
The 39.50 mm case accommodates the Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which is a self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Approved by METAS, the calibre is resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. It features a free sprung-balance with silicon balance spring, and a power reserve of 55 hours. The final touch is a rhodium plated finish with Geneva waves in arabesque.
OMEGA Seamaster Exclusive Boutique Switzerland Limited Edition, reference 511.13.40.20.06.002, is presented on a black leather strap. The watch is water resistant to 60 meters of depth. Available in a numbered limited edition of 1,291 pieces, to commemorate the year of the Swiss Confederation’s birth. As its name suggests, this model will be available for purchase only in OMEGA’s boutiques across Switzerland. The price is 6.900,00 CHF.
