CORUM - Admiral's Cup Challenger 40 Chrono Diamonds

The new Admiral’s Cup Challenger is graced with diamonds, but it still displays the collection’s dynamic DNA, in large 40-millimeters wide case. The watch is topped with immediately recognizable twelve-sided bezel, a motif that lingers through this collection for over 50 years. Admiral’s Cup Challenger 40 Chrono Diamonds is suitable to wear on all occasions. It is ultimately sporty and yet refined, crafted from sturdy but precious materials. It is designed for women who want sport’s watches but not men’s watches.

The dial of a watch uses mother-of-pearl surface to display three chronograph counters. Two distinct versions of a watch are adorned with Polynesian mother-of-pearl, black or white according to the variation. The bezel is graced with no less than 66 diamonds, totaling 0.92 carats, while skeleton central hour and minute hands seamlessly flow across the surface. As a final touch, refined aesthetic is completed with a Corum key counterweight on central sweep seconds hand.



The watch uses COSC chronometer-certified mechanical automatic movement Caliber CO984. It offers great diversity of functions: central hours and minutes, sweep seconds hand, small seconds at 3 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and a date window at 4.30. The movement is built on 37 jewels and offers 42 hours of power reserve.

The Corum Admiral’s Cup Challenger 40 Chrono Diamonds is available in two variations: crafted polished and satin-brushed steel and fitted with a rubber strap, or crafted 18-carat red gold and fitted with a crocodile strap and gem set dial. Both variations are offered in either black or white. The watch offers 50 or 100 meters of water resistance, depending on a version, which is rather disappointing for a sports chrono.
