Inspired by the historical Memovox watches, the new AMVOXZ2 Grand Chronograph combines high-end watchmaking and sleek sporty lines. The watch is a vertical-trigger chronograph and uses a patented mechanism which makes it possible to operate the chronograph by only pressing the sapphire crystal of the watch case. The chronograph function starts when the wearer pushes the crystal at the 12 o’clock position, and comes back to zero by pressing it at the 6 o’clock position. This is possible due to a ball-joint system integrated in the case. The system controls the chronograph by activating a series of levers which transmit impulses to the mechanism. The user can also lock the chronograph by positioning a three-position cursor at 9 o’clock.

The AMVOX2 Grand Chronograph Adrián Fernández is crafted in 18-carat pink gold. It comes in a 44mm-wide round case with “Adrián Fernández” engraving on the case-back. The case frames dashboard-inspired sporty dial enhanced by grey luminiscent numerals and distinctive Aston Martin detailing. The dial and the strap feature the green, white, and red colors of Mexico’s national flag, honoring the famous racing driver’s native country. There are two chronograph counters on the dial, 30-minute and 12-hour subdials, and an elongated aperture between 4 and 8 o’clock, which provides a quick look of the inner mechanism.
The core beats to the cadence of the self-winding mechanical movement, Calibre Jaeger-LeCoultre 751E. The movement is crafted, assembled and decorated by hand, built on 41 jewels, and powerful enough to ensure at least 65 hours of power reserve. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters and graced with the initials of Adrián Fernández between 7 and 8 o’clock.

Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 Grand Chronograph, inspired by Adrián Fernández, will be offered in a limited series of 50 pieces. The price is yet to be announced.
